From Burnout to Brain Science – Jamie Wood 1/5
Deep Future
Jamie Wood grew up in a finance family, entered the corporate world early and eventually burned out. A change of scenery did not erase the behavioral patterns she wanted to change, so she started studying how the brain actually builds and breaks habits. Jamie and Pablos follow that path through coaching, neuroscience and the moment a former client proved the system could keep working without a coach in the loop. It is the origin story of AUTONOMIC and a useful argument for making brain science practical enough to use every day.
View originalChanging jobs is easy. Changing the patterns you carry into the next job is harder. Jamie Wood learned that after climbing the corporate-finance ladder, burning out and discovering that a new environment did not automatically produce a new brain. Jamie is the founder of AUTONOMIC, where she has been turning neuroscience into practical tools for attention, energy, stress, mood and sleep. In part one of our conversation, we get into the unlikely path from finance to brain science — and the client result that convinced her the method could become a self-directed product instead of another coaching dependency.
